Violence, Mass Incarceration, & a Road to Repair

The League of Women Voters of California’s Justice Interest Group will discuss Danielle Sered’s book “Until We Reckon: Violence, Mass Incarceration, and a Road to Repair” at the next meeting on Tuesday, 11/28 at 5:30 PM. Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/675782512

It crystallizes much of what LWVC’s Criminal Justice Interest Group has been addressing over the last few years.  Ostensibly, it focuses on restorative justice, but it really isn’t limited to that and is quite expansive. Danielle Sered provides a perspective of the criminal legal system that can propel us toward real justice. There will also be time to address several agenda items.  Zoom link: https://zoom.us/j/675782512
