Heads-Up for the VIRTUAL Annual Meeting of the League of Women Voters of Berkeley, Albany and Emeryville on Thursday, June 4, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM! Reserve your free spot on eventbrite by June 2, 2020!
Zoom instructions for asking questions, etc. will be sent to attendees this week. Joining information to attend the virtual meeting will be emailed on June 3rd to people who have signed up.
Virtual Event Schedule
6:30-7:35PM: Panel (Open to the Public) – “Meeting the Challenges of COVID-19”
7:35-8:30PM: Members Only – Annual Election of Officers and Board of Directors
Although we’ll miss an in-person get-together for a tasty meal, we’re looking forward to an enlightening panel discussion on “Meeting the Challenges of COVID-19” with Berkeley City Auditor Jenny Wong, Albany Mayor Nick Pilch and BUSD Board Vice President Ty Alper. After the panel, members will elect 2020-2021 officers and members of the Board. No time will be spent on traveling to the event and adding carbon dioxide to the atmosphere! We’re looking on the bright side in this unprecedented Era of the Pandemic.
Sign up here on eventbrite to reserve your free spot at the meeting! Members who have questions can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. People who have downloaded Zoom software should review the company’s instructions about updating to the 5.0 version.
