The League will meet on the the fourth of June at 6:30 PM.

Jenny Farrell, the Executive Director of the League of Women Voters of California (LWVC), will discuss current and upcoming state-level pro-democracy action, which includes coalition partners, as California continues to be a national leader. She will review how LWVC is defending democracy, in instances such as going before the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit to defend the privacy rights of California voters (United States v. Weber).  At stake is whether the Trump administration can force California to turn over the private personal data of millions of voters.

After the talk, members will approve a budget, adopt a program of study and action, and elect a new Board to advance our work in this difficult time of democratic backsliding.
