Local Candidate and Ballot Measure Forums: Sept 18 – Oct 9

Candidate ForumsVoters will have the opportunity to hear their local candidates answer their questions, as well as questions posed by the League of Women Voters of Berkeley, Albany, Emeryville, at Candidate Forums from mid-September to early October. Emeryville candidate forums will be added to the list shortly. The League is also offering a “Political Party” with food and drinks following discussions of local and state ballot measures.

  • Berkeley City Council District 1 Candidate Forum: September 18th, 7-8pm, Berkeley City College Auditorium, 2050 Center St. Berkeley.
  • Berkeley City Council Districts 4,  7, 8 Candidate Forum: September 19th, 6:30pm-9:00pm,  Berkeley City College Auditorium, 2050 Center St, Berkeley.
  • Berkeley School Board Candidate Forum: Sept 25, 7:30 to 8:45 pm Berkeley City College Auditorium, 2050 Center Street.
  • Berkeley Rent Stabilization Board Candidate Forum: September 26th, 7-9pm, Berkeley, City College Auditorium.
  • “Political Party”–Our Pro/Con Forum for state and local propositions: October 4th, 6:30-9pm, Berkeley City College Auditorium , 2050 Center St, Berkeley Afterwards, we will provide materials for people to research what’s on their ballot accompanied by food and drinks! Berkeley City Auditor – There was no forum for Berkeley City Auditor candidates Jennifer Wong and Vladislav S. Davidzon. Because Davidzon declined to take part in a forum.
