Call for Volunteers, Trainees, Nominees for 2016 & 17 Board, Jobs

We can do it poster image.Been meaning to start working with the League and get more involved?  Well, it’s not too late. We have work to do–protecting voter’s rights, protecting the environment against climate change and much more.

After the November 2016 election and the great work of our Voter Services Team, Board Members and other volunteers, we still have one more election to work on–Berkeley’s Council District 4 will have an all-mail-in ballot election to replace the Dist. 4 representative, since Jesse Arreguin was elected Mayor. We’ll be needing volunteers to help set up and run a Forum in early February–jobs small and larger are available. [Contact Phyllis Gale, to volunteer.]

Not quite ready to take on a specific job, contact Nancy Bickel, Chair of the Nominating Comm,,  to learn about future options.
