UPDATE ON EBMUD AND OUR WATER SITUATION

Our next LWVBAE Environmental Concerns meeting will be Monday, October 13, 2025 from 7:30-9:00 pm. Andy Katz our representative on the EBMUD board will give us the latest update on our water situation. He is always very knowledgeable and informative.

Andy is an environmental and workers’ rights attorney, a Lecturer at the UC Berkeley School of Law, and is a former Chair of the Sierra Club California. Prior to his election to the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) Board, he served for five years as a member of the City of Berkeley Zoning Adjustments Board.
