Bystander Power: Taking Action in 2025

Take actionThe League of Women Voters of Berkeley, Albany, Emeryville invites you to our annual meeting on June 12th at 6:30 PM to hear a talk on Bystander Power. The annual business meeting for members will follow the 6:30 to 7:30 pm presentation.

The Annual meeting will focus on this moment of intensified ICE raids, rising anti-immigrant sentiment, the banning of words like “diversity” and “inclusion,” and the widespread dismantling of DEIB (diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging) efforts. We are witnessing harm through the escalation of state-sanctioned unconstitutional action.

The one-hour webinar will offer clear, actionable guidance on how to be a strong and effective bystander in the face of injustice—whether it’s happening in your workplace, your neighborhood, or in public policy.
