HEALTH EQUITY AND REPRODUCTIVE JUSTICE

We were happy to feature an exceptional, educational panel for the fall meeting that  focused on health equity and reproductive justice. The two illustrious speakers who presented were Kathleen Dowd and Olivia Favela-Gary led by our Sharon Goldfarb. Dowd is both a nurse practitioner and a nurse midwife, and has her Master’s degree in nursing. She is the president of the California Nurse Midwives Association. Favela-Gary, CNM, has been on the Board of Directors for the California Nurse-Midwife Foundation since 2021 after completing her Master’s degree in Midwifery in 2013. She has been a nurse and midwife for 11 years in Southern California. Please enjoy this enlightening talk that shouldn’t be missed.
