Younger Voters and Generational Change–Feb. 17 noon

Laura_StokerThe February “Conversation with the League” will feature UC Associate Professor Laura Stoker on the topic “Younger Voters and Generational Change”.
The presentation, part of the monthly League Conversation series, will take place on Tuesday, February 17 at the Albany Public Library’s Edith Stone Room.  The Conversation will run from noon until 2:00, with ample time for questions, answers, and discussion.
Professor Stoker’s research focuses on the development and change of political beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors, and employs data drawn from surveys and experiments   She teaches courses on political behavior, political psychology and involvement, and research methods.  She is currently directing a project on the persistence of political beliefs and attitudes over the life-cycle and their transmission across generations.  She has served on the Board of Overseers of the American National Election Studies, including two years as its Chair. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan.
