Our Bills Will Make California’s Initiative Process Work
Californians strongly support the initiative process but also find the current process confusing and obscure. The LWVC was part of a yearlong process looking at potential reforms to the initiative process. This process included a broad and diverse set of civic and advocacy groups.
As a result, the League is working with California Common Cause to introduce a bill addressing the three major priorities for change:
